If you are reading this blog about four ingredient recipes, it may mean that you don't have much time to spend in the kitchen. Or maybe you just want a simple dish that still tastes delicious. Either way, these recipes are for you! We'll be exploring some delectable four ingredients added to ground beef to make a main dish. It will go to show how easy it can be to whip up something tasty with only a few ingredients on hand.
I was always a fan of quick and economical ground beef recipes when our kids were home. It always seemed if I had no other meat in the freezer, I had ground beef. Today, nothing has changed. I was a busy mom like so many of you are. Busy moms are nothing new. With sons in sports, church and work, my old standby quick ground beef recipes came in so helpful.
Nothing has changed over the years, except that now I sometimes use turkey instead of beef. That's why one of my favorite recipes is a simple four ingredient taco skillet dish. All you need is ground turkey, a packet of taco seasoning, canned black beans, and some diced tomatoes with green chilis. Cook the meat until it's no longer pink, add in the other ingredients and you have a fast, economical filling for tacos or the base of a taco salad.
Another idea is a simple four ingredient chicken Parmesan. Start with boneless, skinless Chicken Breasts, top them with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese. Then sprinkle on some Italian seasoning for a little added flavor. Bake it all in the oven until the cheese melts and you have an easy meal that everyone will love.
Quick and economical is the name of the game!
